Object Compression

The DTZ objectstore compresses all objects with Zstandard compression. This behavior is active for all data and cannot be turned off. The compression is fully transparent for the client.

This leads to the behavior that metrics for the objectstore can deviate from the actual stored data.

Metrics displayed always represents the used storage after the compression is applied.

Only the compressed storage amount will be billed.
